Victor Macarol
Victor Macarol is a multimedia artist and an accomplished pianist
and music educator. As a piano major, he earned his undergraduate
and graduate music degrees (summa cum laude) in Europe. Also, he attended
a piano pedagogy seminar given by Professor Jevgenij Timakin of the
Central Music School, Moscow. Professor Macarol completed his postgraduate
studies at The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore,
Maryland. He appeared as a soloist and accompanist in Europe and the
United States.
In addition to his recognition as a pianist and music educator, Macarol
continues to receive accolades for his work as a multimedia artist.
His works are in many private art collections, and in the art collections
of The New Jersey State Museum in Trenton; The Museum of Modern Art,
Ljubljana, Slovenia; Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris;
Musée de l'Elysée in Lausanne, and Kunsthaus in Zurich,
Switzerland. In 1987, he was awarded The New Jersey State Council
on the Arts "Distinguished Artist Award." He is listed
in "Whos Who in American Art."
