Katie Wang

Katie Wang is sixth grade student and attends the West Windsor-Plainsboro Community Middle School. She has studied piano for five years and is currently studying piano with Ingrid Clarfield of Princeton.

Since 2002, Katie has won high honors and honors consecutively from the New Jersey Music Teachers Association. In addition to piano, Katie’s other musical interests include playing the viola in the Community Middle School (CMS) chamber. Besides her musical interests, Katie enjoys playing tennis, swimming, ice-skating, and all kinds of art.

Katie Wang is a winner in the 2003 Fifth Annual Andrew De Grado Piano Competition in the soloist category with her performance of Chopin's Nocturne in E Minor, Op. 72, No. 1.
