Daria Wong

Daria Wong is an eighth grade student at Woodrow Wilson Middle School, Edison. She has been studying piano for eight years with Jennifer Chen of Metuchen.

In 2002, Daria received honorable mention at the New Jersey Music Teachers Association Competition. Also, she passed the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music fifth grade examination with merit in 2001. Daria plays the violin in the school orchestra and is a member of the school choir and Odyssey of the Mind team. Outside of school, she plays on the junior tennis league and is an avid dancer in ballet, tap, and jazz. Her other interests include reading, drawing, and traveling. With the continuous support from her piano teacher, she plans to participate in more competitions so she can gain better experience and learn from other performers. Daria's career goal is to be a corporate lawyer while continuing to pursue her interest in music.
